The device is only powered by the external power adapter and its IPL emission activation is by finger switch, the purpose of the IPL light is to heat the root where the hair grows. The device incorporates Intense Pulse Light (IPL) technology.The Intense Pulsed Light(IPL) System features cooling care function which realized though semiconductor cooling plate, this function auto starts when device is powered on and auto off when device is powered off. The cold side of semiconductor cooling plate is attached with a Metal Cooling Plate which is circled around the Light Exit Window as parts of device surface. Since the temperature of Metal Cooling Plate cooled by semiconductor cooling plate and thus lower than temperature of skin surface, it always generates cooling feeling when device contacts with skin surface during it works.
